'Avatar: The Way of Water' glides to $1 billion

For now, Paramount Pictures' "Top Gun: Maverick" is still the highest-grossing movie of 2022 with a global cumulative of $1.49 billion, but "Avatar: The Way of the Water" is breaking records.
